Brae Island Regional Park
Langley, BC

A comprehensive park renovation that responded to a diverse assembly of user groups, ranging from backpackers to RV users and bird watchers, to nearby urban and First Nations residents. As prime consultant, our role was to oversee the design and construction of many elements, including new buildings, a revised campground alignment, the implementation of an innovative stormwater management system, a 4.5km interpretive trail with look-out structures, innovative native planting and interpretive signage strategy, as well as a range of bank stabilization measures along the river's edge.
